Father Sanjai Devis, VC, was greeted with loud cheers and the rustle of pom-poms as he walked into Saint Mary School, Williamstown, on Oct. 6. Students held a surprise “Clap Down” for Father Devis, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, in celebration of his 25th anniversary to the priesthood, which was Oct. 11. School faculty and parish staff joined in on the fun as Father Devis was handed cards and balloons while visiting with students on his walk down the school’s hallway. (courtesy photo)
