“[During COVID] We had to get used to hearing words like ‘Zoom’ and ‘virtual’ and taking tests on our computers. However, even during this time of fear and change, we found a way to take the good from the bad. … With a schedule that consisted of meeting on Zoom for our classes, we had the rest of the day to enjoy the company of our families and become closer. … As the door closes on our high school years, we are confident that we are ready to meet the challenge of what awaits us. As we have done for the last four years, we must embrace all opportunities because we never know what God has planned for us.” ~ Kimberly Casiello, valedictorian
“Four years ago, we came to Wildwood Catholic as 32 very different individuals, ingrained with unique gifts, flaws and talents. We came from different backgrounds, cultures, and had different beliefs and personalities. With such diversity, I wondered how we would EVER forge into a class. But I need not have worried; for before diversity and inclusion became so politically correct, it had been thriving for decades at Wildwood Catholic. Now, as in the past, we are taught to embrace our differences rather than diminish them. … We are taught acceptance rather than rejection.” ~ Daniela Cruz-Perez, salutatorian
